It is also a level of functional and/or metabolic efficiency of an organism, often implicitly human. I have to make a power point about a health care problem for a statistics class and include a frequency table, which means I need actual numbers, not percentages as most statistic information is portrayed. I personally believe in using fat as fuel instead of carbohydrates. Fat is totally benign in the absence of insulin. There aren't enough calories in vegetables & fruits to fuel the body, if you get enough calories from carbs to fuel the body, then you maintain an almost constant high insulin level with roller coaster blood glucose levels. I recommend fats from butter, coconut, olives, nuts, fish & meats, chia seeds & flax seeds. Q. For my biology class we get bonus points if we find out what the HEALTH disadvantage to having extra melanin (eumelanin) in the body is. I've searched everywhere and cannot find the answer.
